Overview

ConflictLive is a news analysis website. We offer optional email subscriptions for alerts and newsletters. Beyond that, we do not collect personal data directly.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use our site. GA4 collects anonymized usage data such as pages visited, time on site, and general geographic region. This data is processed by Google according to their privacy policy.

Advertising

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. AdSense may use cookies to serve relevant ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising through Google's Ad Settings.

Cookies

We implement a cookie consent mechanism in compliance with GDPR and similar regulations. By default, analytics and advertising cookies are disabled until you provide consent. You can change your preference at any time by clearing your browser's local storage.

We offer optional email subscriptions for breaking news alerts and daily briefings. When you subscribe, we collect and store your email address in our database (hosted on Supabase). Emails are sent via Resend.

Your email is used solely to deliver the notifications you opted into. We do not:

Share or sell your email to third parties
Send marketing or promotional content unrelated to ConflictLive
Track email opens or clicks beyond basic delivery confirmation

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email, or by contacting us directly. Upon unsubscription, your email is marked inactive and can be permanently deleted upon request.

Data Collection

Beyond email subscriptions (described above), the only data collected is through third-party analytics and advertising services, subject to your cookie consent.

Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:

Reject cookies via our consent banner
Unsubscribe from email notifications at any time
Request deletion of your email and any associated data
Access information about data collected (contact Google directly for analytics data)
